Summary

Open Energi Ltd claimed that it should be named as the sole applicant in place of the existing applicant Mr Dames. Open Energi were supported in this claim by Mr Dames who unsurprisingly therefore did not file a counterstatement. Open Energi also sought an order that the application should be deemed to have been filed by ResponsiveLoad Ltd (the former name of Open Energi). This was considered necessary to support priority claims from the application in issue. The Hearing Officer however refused to make such an order.
