An Act to authorise increased sentences for attempted rape or assult with intent to rape.

Assault with intent to commit rape.
 Any person who assaults any [ F2 person ] with intent to commit rape shall be guilty of an offence and shall be liable, on conviction on indictment, to imprisonment [ F3 for life ] .]
