The Secretary of State for the Environment, in exercise of his powers under section 166 of the Transport Act 1968 and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Transport Act 1968 (Commencement No. 10) Order 1970.
2. Part II of Schedule 10 to the Transport Act 1968 and section 165(d) of, and Part IV of Schedule 18 to, that Act shall come into force on 1st December 1970.

This Order brings into operation, on 1st December 1970, certain provisions of the Transport Act 1968 which contain amendments and repeals to other enactments consequential on the operation of the provisions of the Act relevant to operators' licensing. The provisions are related to section 94(8) of the Act which is brought into operation on the same date by the Transport Act 1968 (Commencement No. 9) Order 1970.
