The Secretary of State in exercise of the power conferred on her by section 6(2) of the Theatres Trust Act 1976 hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Theatres Trust Act (Appointed Day) Order 1976.
2. The day appointed for the purposes of the Theatres Trust Act 1976 is 21st January 1977.
Given under the Official Seal of the Secretary of State for Education and Science on 23rd December 1976.

This Order appoints 21st January 1977 as the day for the incorporation of the body known as the Theatres Trust and the appointment of trustees and other matters consequential upon such incorporation.
