The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 8(6) and 18 of the Local Employment Act 1972 and now vested in him(1), hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Derelict Land Clearance Areas Order 1980 and shall come into operations on 31st December 1980.
2. The employment office area of Coalville is hereby specified as a derelict land clearance area for the purposes of the Local Employment Act 1972.
3. The Derelict Land Clearance Areas Order 1978 shall have effect subject to the amendment that in paragraph 1 of the Schedule thereto for the words "referred to in Article 3(1) of the Docklands Land Board Order 1977" there shall be substituted the words "signed by an Under Secretary in the Department of Industry and marked -�map referred to in the Derelict Land Clearance Areas Order 1978 as amended by the Derelict Land Clearance Areas Order 1980' which is deposited at the offices of the Secretary of State for the Environment".

This Order specifies as a derelict land clearance area the employment office area of Coalville.
The Order also amends the Derelict Land Clearance Areas Order 1978 by substituting a new description of the map referred to in paragraph 1 of the Schedule to that Order. The area delineated on the map is unchanged. A copy of the map is available for public inspection at all reasonable times and without payment at the principal offices of the Greater London Council and the Borough Councils of Greenwich, Lewisham, Newham, Southwark and Tower Hamlets.
