The Secretary of State for Social Services, in exercise of powers conferred on him by section 11 of the National Health Service Act 1977(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Special Hospital Boards (Amendment of Constitution) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 13th March 1987.
2.-(1) Article 4 (constitution) of the Rampton Hospital Board (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1986(2) shall be amended by substituting "9" for "7".
(2) Article 4 (constitution) of the Broadmoor Hospital Board (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1986(3) shall be amended by substituting "9" for "7".
(3) Article 4 (constitution) of the Moss Side and Park Lane Hospitals Board (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1986(4) shall be amended by substituting "9" for "7".

This Order amends the Rampton Hospital Board (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1986, the Broadmoor Hospital Board (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1986, and the Moss Side and Park Lane Hospitals Board (Establishment and Constitution) Order 1986 so as to increase maximum membership of the three special health authorities established by those Orders from, in each case, seven members to nine members.
