The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, the Secretary of State for Scotland and the Secretary of State for Wales, acting jointly, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2 of the Destructive Imported Animals Act 1932(1) and now vested in them(2) and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, with the approval of the Treasury in accordance with section 2(c) of that Act, hereby make the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Mink (Keeping) (Amendment) Regulations 1987 and shall come into force on 1st January 1988.
2. The Mink (Keeping) Regulations 1975(3) shall be amended by substituting in regulation 5(3) (fee payable in respect of the granting of a licence) for the amount "£58" the amount "£115".

These Regulations further amend the Mink (Keeping) Regulations 1975 by increasing the fee for a licence to keep mink from £58 to £115 with effect from 1st January 1988.
1932 c. 12; the Act was applied in relation to mink by virtue of section 10(1) of the Act and S.I. 1982/1745.
In the case of the Secretary of State for Wales by virtue of S.I. 1969/388.
