The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, in the case of land in England, and the Secretary of State, in the case of land in Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 6 of Schedule 1 to the Agriculture Act 1986(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order, which applies to land in England and Wales, may be cited as the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Amendment) Order 1987 and shall come into force on 5th April 1987.
2. The Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) Order 1986(2) is hereby amended by substituting for the Schedule thereto the Schedule to this Order.
In Witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is hereunto affixed on 2nd April 1987.

This Order amends the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) Order 1986, which prescribes the quota per hectare and the average yield per hectare to be taken into account in determining the standard quota for the purposes of calculating the payment which a tenant in England or Wales is entitled, in certain circumstances, by Schedule 1 to the Agriculture Act 1986 to obtain from his landlord in respect of milk quota on the termination of the tenancy of the land.
This Order substitutes for the Schedule to that Order a new Schedule, in which the quota per hectare prescribed by article 3 of that Order is revised (article 2).
