The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 22(4) and 51 of the Gaming Act 1968((1)), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, and after consultation with the Gaming Board for Great Britain in accordance with section 51(2) of that Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
1.-(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 1988 and shall come into force on 18th July 1988.
(2) These Regulations extend to Scotland only.
2. Regulation 3 of the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Scotland) Regulations 1984((2)) shall be amended by substituting for the word

These Regulations amend the Gaming Clubs (Hours and Charges) (Scotland) Regulations 1984 to extend the permitted hours for gaming on bingo club premises in Scotland so that gaming may commence on weekdays and Saturdays at 10 a.m. instead of noon.
