The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by paragraph 6 of Schedule 2 to the Agriculture Act 1986(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order, which applies to tenancies in Scotland, may be cited as the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Amendment Order 1988 and shall come into force on 15th May 1988.
2. The Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Order 1986(2)is hereby amended by substituting for the Schedule thereto the Schedule to this Order.

This Order amends the Milk Quota (Calculation of Standard Quota) (Scotland) Order 1986, which prescribes the "standard yield per hectare" and the "average yield per hectare" to be taken into account in determining the "standard yield" for the purposes of calculating the payment which a tenant in Scotland is entitled, by Schedule 2 to the Agriculture Act 1986, to obtain from his landlord in respect of milk quota on the termination of a lease of a tenancy.
This Order substitutes for the Schedule to that Order a new Schedule, in which the "standard yield per hectare" prescribed by article 3 of that Order is revised.
