PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM

In exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section 16(3) of the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989(1), I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) (Designated Ports) Order 1990 and shall come into force on 3rd September 1990.
2. In Part I of Schedule 6 to the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989, there shall be omitted, under the heading "Seaports", the word "Southampton".

This Order removes Southampton from the list of seaports designated, for the purposes of paragraph 8 of Schedule 5 to the Prevention of Terrorism (Temporary Provisions) Act 1989, in Part I of Schedule 6 to that Act.
