In exercise of the powers conferred on me by section 50(2) of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987(1), I hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 (Commencement No. 6) Order 1990.
2. Section 47 of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 (luminous tube signs: England and Wales) shall come into force on 31st December 1990.

This Order brings into force on 31st December 1990 section 47 of the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987 which makes fresh provision regarding the voltage above which a luminous tube sign may be required to be fitted with a firemen's cut-off switch.
