The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 10(2) of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1992.
2. Sections 5(2), 7 and 9 of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 shall come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made.

(This note is not part of the Order)
Article 2 of this Order brings into force sections 5(2), 7 and 9 of the Non-Domestic Rating Act 1992 on the day after the day the Order is made.
