INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT

The Highlands and Islands Development Board Dissolution Order 1992

Coming into force

20th July 1992

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 23(3) of the Enterprise and New Towns (Scotland) Act 1990((1)), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, after consultation with the Highlands and Islands Development Board and their successor, Highlands and Islands Enterprise, and being satisfied that nothing further remains to be done by that Board whether under Schedule 3 to that Act or otherwise, hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the Highlands and Islands Development Board Dissolution Order 1992 and shall come into force on 20th July 1992.

2. The Highlands and Islands Development Board shall be dissolved on 21st July 1992.

Explanatory Note
