TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING, ENGLAND AND WALES

12th October 1992
The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 84(2) and (3) of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991(1) and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order-
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 (Commencement No.13 and Transitional Provision) Order 1992.
(2) In this Order-
"the 1990 Act" means the Town and Country Planning Act 1990(2).
2. Subject to article 3, section 28 of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991(so far as it is not already in force) shall come into force on 9th November 1992.
3. The amendments to the 1990 Act brought in force by this Order shall not apply with respect to any proposals which are or have been made available for inspection in accordance with paragraph 5 or 6 of Schedule 7 to the 1990 Act before the coming into force of this Order but the simplified planning zone scheme had not yet come into operation on that date.

Article 2 of this Order brings into force on 9th November 1992 section 28 of the Planning and Compensation Act 1991 (simplified planning zones) so far as it is not already in force.
Article 3 contains a transitional provision.
