Her Majesty, in pursuance of section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894(1), is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited at the Merchant Shipping (Confirmation of Legislation) (Cayman Islands) (No. 3) Order 1992 and shall come into force on 1st December 1992.
2. The Merchant Shipping Act 1988 (Amendment) Law 1992(2) enacted by the Legislature of the Cayman Islands, is hereby confirmed.

This Order, made under section 735(1) of the Merchant Shipping Act 1894, confirms a Law of 1992 enacted by the legislature of the Cayman Islands which permits registration of vessels in the Cayman Islands by persons who are nationals of a Member State of the European Community other than the United Kingdom and bodies corporate incorporated in a Member State of the European State of the European Community other than the United Kingdom and having their place of business in any part of the European Community and makes certain technical amendments to the law relating to registration of ships.
