The Secretary of State for the Environment, as respects England, and the Secretary of State for Wales, as respects Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by section 119(2) of the Local Government Finance Act 1992(1), and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Local Government Finance Act 1992 (Commencement No. 1) Order 1992.
(2) In this Order "Schedule 10"means Schedule 10 to the Local Government Finance Act 1992.
2. Paragraph 2 of Schedule 10 and so much of paragraph 4 of that Schedule as enables provision to be made by regulations shall come into force on 7th March 1992.
3. Paragraph 3 of Schedule 10 and, except insofar as it is already in force, paragraph 4 of that Schedule shall come into force on 1st April 1992.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order provides for the commencement of certain provisions of the Local Government Finance Act 1992 relating to non-domestic rating.
Paragraph 2 (multiple moorings) of Schedule 10 is brought into force on 7th March 1992. Paragraphs 3 (places of religious worship etc.) and 4 (valuation) are brought into force on 1st April 1992, except that the power to make regulations under the provision substituted by paragraph 4 is brought into force on 7th March 1992.
