Made
28th June 1994
Coming into force
1st September 1994
1. This Order may be cited as the Youth Courts (London) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st September 1994.
2. The Juvenile Courts (London) Order 1975(3), the Juvenile Courts (London) (Amendment) Order 1984(4) and the Juvenile Courts (London)(Amendment) Order 1990(5) are hereby revoked.
Mackay of Clashfern, C.
Dated 28th June 1994
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order revokes the Juvenile Courts (London) Order 1975, the Juvenile Courts (London) (Amendment) Order 1984 and the Juvenile Courts (London) (Amendment) Order 1990. The effect of the Order is that divisions are no longer assigned to youth courts for the area comprising the Inner London boroughs and the City of London with places specified for the sitting of these courts. Instead any youth court may hear any matter within that area.
