The Secretary of State, in exercise of his powers under section 154(2) of the Railways Act 1993(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Railways Act 1993 (Commencement No. 2) Order 1994.
2. Section 117 of the Railways Act 1993 shall come into force on 2nd February 1994.

This Order brings into force on 2nd February 1994 section 117 of the Railways Act 1993, which makes provision with respect to the safety of railways and other guided transport systems.
