Whereas the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food and the Secretary of State for Wales ("the Ministers"):-
(i)have consulted such persons or representative bodies as they consider appropriate to consult in accordance with paragraph 2(1)(a) of Schedule 3 to the Water Resources Act 1991 ("the 1991 Act")(1);
(ii)have published a notice in accordance with paragraph 2(1)(c) of Schedule 3 to the 1991 Act;
(iii)have caused copies of the said notice and of a draft of the following Order to be served in accordance with paragraph 2(3) of Schedule 3 to the 1991 Act;
Now therefore the Ministers, in exercise of the powers conferred on them by paragraph 1(1) and (3) of Schedule 3 to the 1991 Act and of all other powers enabling them in that behalf, hereby make the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the National Rivers Authority (Severn-Trent and Anglian Regional Flood Defence Committees Areas) (Boundaries) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 1st April 1994.
2. In this Order "the map" means the map marked "map referred to in the National Rivers Authority (Severn-Trent and Anglian Regional Flood Defence Committees Areas) (Boundaries) Order 1994".
3.-(1) The boundaries of the area of the Severn-Trent Regional Flood Defence Committee shall be altered so as to exclude from that area all those lands within the Parishes of Hardwick, Thorney and Wigsley which are shown coloured red on map.
(2) The boundaries of the area of the Anglian Regional Flood Defence Committee shall be altered so as to add to that area all those lands within the Parishes of Hardwick, Thorney and Wigsley which are shown coloured red on the map.
In witness whereof the Official Seal of the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food is hereunto affixed on 26th January 1994.

This Order alters the boundaries of the areas of the Severn-Trent and the Anglian Regional Flood Defence Committees of the National Rivers Authority by excluding from the area of the Severn Trent Regional Flood Defence Committee certain land in the parishes of Hardwick in Lincolnshire, and Thorney and Wigsley in Nottinghamshire, and adding that land to the area of the Anglian Regional Flood Defence Committee.
Copies of the map mentioned in the Order are available for inspection during office hours at the offices of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Eastbury House, 30-34 Albert Embankment, London SE1 7TL, the National Rivers Authority (Severn-Trent Region) Sapphire East, 550 Streetsbrook Road, Solihull B9 1QT and the National Rivers Authority (Anglian Region), Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Peterborough PE2 5ZR.
