The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 3(4) of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992((1)) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having undertaken such consultation as appeared to him to be appropriate, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Dumfries and Galloway College of Technology (Change of Name) (Scotland) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 7th November 1994.
2. The name of Dumfries and Galloway College of Technology is changed to Dumfries and Galloway College, and a corresponding change is made to the name of the board of management of that college.

(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order changes the name of Dumfries and Galloway College of Technology to Dumfries and Galloway College. That College is under the control of a board of management in terms of the Further and Higher Education (Scotland) Act 1992 and the Order therefore also changes the name of the board of management to reflect the new name of the College.
