NATIONAL LOTTERY

BETTING, GAMING AND LOTTERIES

The National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1994

10th October 1994

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 65 of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993(1), hereby makes the following Order:

1. This Order may be cited as the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (Commencement No. 3) Order 1994.

2. Part IV of the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 shall come into force on 14th November 1994.

Explanatory Note

(This note is not part of the Order)

This Order brings into force on 14th November 1994 Part IV of the National Lottery etc. Act 1994. The provisions of Part IV relate to pool betting and make amendments to the Betting, Gaming and Lotteries Act 1963 (c. 2).

This Order has been preceded by the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (Commencement No. 1 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1993 (S.I. 1993/2632) and by the National Lottery etc. Act 1993 (Commencement No. 2 and Transitional Provisions) Order 1994 (S.I. 1994/1055). Those Orders brought certain provisions of that Act into force on four different dates.

The table below sets out the provisions of the Act brought into force by the Orders and the dates of coming into force of those provisions.
