Her Majesty, in exercise of the powers conferred upon Her by section 43 of the Family Law Act 1986(1) is pleased, by and with the advice of Her Privy Council, to order, and it is hereby ordered, as follows:
1. This Order may be cited as the Family Law Act 1986 (Dependent Territories) (Amendment) Order 1994 and shall come into force on 6th December 1994.
2. Paragraph 19(1) of Schedule 2 to the Family Law Act 1986 (Dependent Territories) Order 1991(2) shall be amended by the insertion of the words "(within the meaning of the Family Law Act 1986 (Dependent Territories) Order 1991)" after the words "or out of any specified dependent territory".

This Order amends the Family Law Act 1986 (Dependent Territories) Order 1991 in order to provide a definition of the term "specified dependent territory" for the purposes of the Domestic Proceedings (Northern Ireland) Order 1980 (S.I. 1980/563).
1986 c. 55; Part I of the Act is amended by the Children Act 1989 (c. 41), Schedule 13, paragraphs 62 to 71 and Schedule 15.
