This Statutory Instrument has been made in consequence of defects in S.I. 1993/1511 and is being issued free of charge to all known recipients of that Statutory Instrument.

The Secretary of State for Wales, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by sections 66(2), 67(2), 67A(5), 73(3) and 74(1) of the Rent Act 1977(1) as extended by section 26(3) of the Welsh Language Act 1993(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf hereby makes the following Regulations:
1. These Regulations may be cited as the Rent Act 1977 (Forms, etc.) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) (Amendment) Regulations 1994 and shall come into force on 6th April 1994.
2. The Rent Act 1977 (Forms, etc.) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) Regulations 1993(3) are amended as follows:-�
(a)in regulation 2 after the words "the corresponding forms in" delete the words "the Schedule" and insert "Schedule 1";
(b)in the Schedule-�
(i)in question 4 of "Ffurflen Rhif 5", "Ffurflen Rhif 6", "Ffurflen Rhif 7", "Ffurflen Rhif 9A" and "Ffurflen Rhif 10", add after the words "ar ba lawr" the words "neu loriau";
(ii)in question 1 of "Ffurflen Rhif 10" for the words "yr ydych am gofrestru rhent ar ei gyfer" there are substituted the words "y mae'r rhent wedi ei gofrestru ar ei gyfer";
(iii)at the end of paragraph 5 of "Ffurflen Rhif 13" add the word "teg" after the word "rhent";
(iv)in question 15 of "Ffurflen Rhif 5" and in question 14 of "Ffurflen Rhif 7" add after the words "unrhyw waith" the words "neu waith";
(v)in question 11 of "Ffurflen Rhif 10" for the word "Os" substitute "A" and add after the words "unrhyw waith" the words "neu waith";
(vi)in question 11 of "Ffurflen Rhif 9A" after the word "teg" add the words "gan gynnwys y dreth gyngor";
(vii)for the third question in question 11 of "Ffurflen Rhif 6", there is substituted:-�
"A oedd unrhyw waith trwsio cychwynnol i'w wneud? Oedd/Nac oedd Ticiwch un blwch";
(viii)for the fourth question in question 11 "Ffurflen Rhif 6", for the word ""Do"" there is substituted the word ""Oedd"" and for the final question, for the word ""Naddo"" there are substituted the words ""Nacoedd"";
(ix)in the final question of question 11 of "Ffurflen Rhif 6", for the word "wneud" there is substituted the word "orffen".

The Rent Act 1977 (Forms, etc) (Welsh Forms and Particulars) Regulations 1993(4) ("the Welsh Regulations") prescribed Welsh versions of forms number 5, 6, 7, 9A, 10, 11, 12 and 13 of the Rent Act 1977 (Forms, etc) Regulations 1980(5) as amended by the Rent Act 1977 (Forms, etc) (Amendment) Regulations 1984(6), 1987(7), 1988(8) and 1993(9). These Regulations are made to correct defects in the Welsh Regulations.
1977 c. 42; section 67(2) was substituted by the Housing Act 1980 (c. 51), section 59(2); section 67A was inserted by paragraph 3 of Schedule 2 to the Local Government and Finance (Housing) (Consequential Amendments) Order 1993 (S.I. 1993/651) and has effect in transitional cases; section 73(3) was substituted by section 62(3) of the Housing Act 1980 (c. 51); section 74(1) was amended by section 41(1) of the Housing Act 1988 (c. 50) and by paragraph 51 of Schedule 11 to the Local Government and Housing Act 1989 (c. 42) and see the definition of "prescribed" in section 75 of the Act; section 79(2) was amended by paragraph 43 of Schedule 25 to the Housing Act 1980. Sections 67, 67A and 74(1) of the 1977 Act are applied by section 13 of the Rent (Agriculture) Act 1976 (c. 80) to statutory tenancies under the 1976 Act. Section 13 was amended by paragraph 75 of Schedule 23 to the Rent Act 1977, Schedule 18 to the Housing Act 1988, and paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 2 to the Local Government Finance (Housing) (Consequential Amendments) Order 1993.
