7th October 1995
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 16(3) of the Proceeds of Crime Act 1995,(1), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Proceeds of Crime Act 1995 (Commencement) Order 1995 and extends to England and Wales only.
2. The provisions of the Proceeds of Crime Act 1995 (save for section 14 (enforcement in UK of overseas forfeiture and restraint orders) and section 16 (short title, interpretation, commencement and extent) which came into force on the passing of that Act) shall come into force on 1st November 1995.
