The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 68(4) and (5)(a) of the Coal Industry Act 1994(1), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Coal Industry Act 1994 (Commencement No. 5) Order 1995.
(2) In this Order "the Act" means the Coal Industry Act 1994.
2. Part III of Schedule 11 to the Act shall, so far as it relates to the repeals set out in the Schedule to this Order, come into force on 1st March 1995.

This Order brings into force certain of the repeals specified in Part III of Schedule 11 to the Coal Industry Act 1994 not previously brought into force.

In addition, the provisions of the Act specified in section 68(2) thereof came into force on 31st October 1994 by virtue of the making of the Coal Industry (Restructuring Date) Order 1994 (S. 1994/2553">1994/2553).
