The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6(1) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(1), and after consultation with the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis pursuant to section 7(6) of that Act(2), and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Hounslow (Various Roads) Traffic Order 1969 (Variation) Order 1995 and shall come into force on 9th December 1995.
2.-(1) The Hounslow (Various Roads) Traffic Order 1969(3) shall be varied as follows:
(2) Before article 10 there shall be inserted the following article-
"9A. Subject to the provisions of this Order no person shall cause any vehicle the width of which exceeds 6 feet 6 inches to proceed on the flyover or the slip road.".

1984. c.27. Section 6(1) was amended by the New Roads and Street Works Act 1991 (c. 22), section 168 and Schedule 8, paragraph 21(2). Part IV of Schedule 9 was amended by the Road Traffic (Temporary) Restrictions Act 1991 (c. 26), section 1(4).
Section 7(6) was amended by paragraph 3 of Schedule 7 to the Road Traffic Act 1991 (c. 40).
