The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of powers conferred on her by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and section 9(1) and (4) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling her in that behalf, with the consent of the Treasury(3), hereby makes the following Order:-
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital Debt) Amendment Order 1995, and shall come into force on 15th March 1995.
(2) In this Order, "the principal Order" means the National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital Debt) Order 1995(4).
2. In the Schedule to the principal Order, for the amounts specified in columns (2), (3) and (4) in relation to the North Durham Acute Hospitals NHS Trust there shall be substituted the following amounts-
(a)in column (2) (originating capital debt), £21,635,880;
(b)in column (3) (initial loan), £10,817,940; and
(c)in column (4) (public dividend capital), £10,817,940.

This Order amends the National Health Service Trusts (Originating Capital Debt) Order 1995 ("the principal Order") which specifies the amounts of originating capital debt, initial loan and public dividend capital in relation to National Health Service trusts whose operational date was 1st April 1994. The amendments made by this Order correct errors in the amounts specified, in the Schedule to the principal Order, in relation to the North Durham Acute Hospitals NHS Trust.
1977 c. 49; section 126(3) was amended by section 65(2) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) ("the 1990 Act").
