The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 6(2) of the Medicinal Products: Prescription by Nurses etc. Act 1992(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Medicinal Products: Prescription by Nurses etc. Act 1992 (Commencement No.2) Order 1996.
2. 1st July 1996 is the day appointed for the coming into force of section 3 of the Medicinal Products: Prescription by Nurses etc. Act 1992.

This Order brings into force on 1st July 1996 section 3 of the Medicinal Products: Prescription by Nurses etc. Act 1992 (extension of pharmaceutical services in Scotland). Section 3 is the last provision from that Act to be brought into force, sections 4 to 6 having come into force on Royal Assent and sections 1 and 2 having been commenced on 3rd October 1994 by S.I. 1994/2408.
