The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to the change in the arrangements for the administration of hospitals and other establishments and facilities previously managed by the former East London and The City Health Authority, having consulted the Special Trustees for St. Bartholomew's and St. Mark's Hospitals and the Northwick Park and St. Mark's National Health Service Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Northwick Park and St. Mark's National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1996 and shall come into force on 15th November 1996.
(2) In this Order-
"the Special Trustees" means the Special Trustees for St. Bartholomew's and St. Mark's Hospitals;
"the Trust" means the Northwick Park and St. Mark's National Health Service Trust, established on 4th November 1992(2);
"the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the Special Trustees and the Trust on 3rd April 1996, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both the Special Trustees and the Trust.
2. On 15th November 1996 the trust property shall be transferred from the Special Trustees to the Trust.

This Order transfers to the Northwick Park and St. Mark's National Health Service Trust on 15th November 1996 trust property formerly held by the Special Trustees for St. Bartholomew's and St. Mark's Hospitals. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained at the Department of Health, National Health Service Trust Finance Team, Quarry House, Room IN33F, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
1977 c. 49; section 92(1) has been amended by section 11(5) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) and by Schedule 1, paragraph 44 of the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17).
