1. These Regulations may be cited as the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs (Amendment) Regulations 1996 and shall come into force on 2nd December 1996.
2. In Part I of the Schedule to the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Regulations 1985(3), for the amount "£365" there shall be substituted the amount "£405".

These Regulations change the daily fee charged under the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs Regulations 1985, as amended by the International Carriage of Perishable Foodstuffs (Amendment) Regulations 1987, 1992, and 1995, for the use of approved test chambers in connection with the testing of refrigerated goods vehicles, railways wagons and containers carrying perishable foodstuffs on international journeys. The other fees for testing, and for type approval and examination remain the same.
The fees for testing are as follows:

2. | Fee for the use of the facilities of a designated station for each day, or part of the day, in which such facilities are used for the purpose of the testing of a unit of transport equipment | £365 | £405 |
3. | Fee for the certification of a unit of transport equipment which has been tested | £50 | £50 |
