(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the Milford Port Health Authority Order 1991 (S.I. 1991/2913) because of local government reorganisation under the Local Government (Wales) Act 1994. The Milford Port Health Authority was a joint board, comprising representatives of two riparian authorities. This Order provides that the joint board should be abolished, with the new local authority, Pembrokeshire County Council which comprises the area of the two riparian authorities, becoming the port health authority for the port health district which shall be known as "the Milford Haven Port Health District."
Amendments consequent upon repealing legislation are made to the enactments which apply to the port health authority.
S.I. 1991/2913.
