(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order amends the United Nations (International Tribunal) (Former Yugoslavia) Order 1996 ("the 1996 Order") by extending limited immunities and privileges to a judge, Prosecutor or Registrar of the International Tribunal for the Prosecution of Persons Responsible for Serious Violations of International Humanitarian Law Committed in the Territory of the Former Yugoslavia since 1991 who is a British national or permanently resident in the United Kingdom. This brings the 1996 Order into conformity with the Statute of the International Tribunal.
