24th October 1997
Whereas the Secretary of State is for the purposes of Part I of the Ports Act 1991(1) the appropriate Minister in relation to Dundee Port Authority;
And whereas the Secretary of State is satisfied as to the matters mentioned in paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) of subsection (1) of section 7 of the said Act:
Now, therefore, the Secretary of State, after consulting the said authority in pursuance of the said subsection (1), in exercise of the powers conferred on him by that subsection, hereby makes the following Order:-
1. This Order may be cited as the Dundee Port Authority (Dissolution) Order 1997.
2. The Dundee Port Authority shall be dissolved on 27th October 1997.
