The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 126(3) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and by section 5(1) of, and paragraph 29(1) of Schedule 2 to, the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990(2) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, considering it appropriate in the interests of the health service to make this Order(3), and after completion of the consultation prescribed under paragraph 29(3) of Schedule 2 to the latter Act(4), hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Lancaster Priority Services National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1998 and shall come into force on 1st April 1998.
2. The Lancaster Priority Services National Health Service Trust established by the Lancaster Priority Services National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1991(5) is dissolved, and accordingly that Order is revoked.

This Order dissolves the Lancaster Priority Services National Health Service Trust on 1st April 1998.
This Order should be read in conjunction with the Bay Community National Health Service Trust (Establishment) Order 1998(6) and the South Cumbria Community and Mental Health National Health Service Trust (Dissolution) Order 1998(7).
