The Traffic Director for London, in accordance with a direction given to him by the Secretary of State under section 58(1) of the Road Traffic Act 1991(1) and in exercise of the powers conferred on the Secretary of State by sections 9 and 10 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984(2), and of all other enabling powers, hereby makes the following Order:-�
1. This Order may be cited as The A205 Trunk Road (Lewisham) Red Route Experimental Traffic Order 1998 Experimental Variation Order 1999, and shall come into force on 2nd August 1999.
2. The A205 Trunk Road (Lewisham) Red Route Experimental Traffic Order 1998(3) is varied by the following provisions of this Order.
3. In schedule 1 item 3 is substituted as follows:-�
"Stanstead Road link road between the north arm and south arm,
3 | both sides of the carriageway west of the eastern island (including the island situated between the eastern island and western island); and both sides of the carriageway east of that island." |
4. In schedule 1 item 5 is substituted as follows:-�
"Catford Road,
5A | north side, from its junction with Catford Hill, to a point 65.0 metres west of its junction with Rushey Green. |
5B | south side, from its junction with Catford Hill, to a point 40.0 metres west of its junction with Rushey Green. |
5C | both sides of the northern limb, between its junction with Rushey Green and a point 65.0 metres west of that junction. |
5D | both sides of the southern limb, between its junction with Rushey Green and a point 40.0 metres west of that junction. |
5E | both sides of the road between the northern limb of Catford Road and the southern limb of Catford Road adjoining the island site on the west of Rushey Green." |
5. In schedule 4 item 6 is substituted as follows:-�
"Stanstead Road link road between the north arm and south arm,
6 | both sides of the carriageway west of the eastern island (including the island situated between the eastern island and western island); and both sides of the carriageway east of that island." |
6. In schedule 4 item 7 is substituted as follows:-�
"Stanstead Road link road between the north arm and south arm,
7 | west side of the carriageway east of the eastern island from the projected southern kerbline of Stanstead Road (north arm), south for a distance of 3.0 metres." |
7. In schedule 4 item 8 is deleted.
8. In schedule 4 item 15 is substituted as follows:-�
"Catford Road,
15 | south side, from its junction with Catford Hill, to a point 40.0 metres west of its junction with Rushey Green." |
9. In schedule 4 item 17 is substituted as follows:-�
"Catford Road,
17A | north side, from a point 34.0 metres east of the eastern boundary of Thomas Lane, to a point 65.0 metres west of its junction with Rushey Green. |
17B | both sides of the northern limb, between its junction with Rushey Green and a point 65.0 metres west of that junction. |
17C | both sides of the southern limb, between its junction with Rushey Green and a point 40.0 metres west of that junction. |
17D | both sides of the road between the northern limb of Catford Road and the southern limb of Catford Road adjoining the island site on the west of Rushey Green." |
