DISTRESS, ENGLAND AND WALES
Made
26th November 1999
Coming into force in accordance with rule 1
1. These Rules may be cited as the Distress for Rent (Amendment) (No. 3) Rules 1999 and shall come into force:
(a)as to rule 2(b), on 31st January 2000; and
(b)as to the remainder of these Rules, on 20th December 1999.
2. The following entries in Appendix 3 to the Distress for Rent Rules 1988(3) shall be deleted:
(a)the entry relating to Bridgwater; and
(b)the entries relating to Grays Thurrock and Great Yarmouth.

(This note is not part of the Rules)
These Rules are consequential on the closure, by virtue of the Civil Courts (Amendment) (No. 3) Order 1999, of the county courts at Bridgwater, Grays Thurrock and Great Yarmouth, and removes references to them from the list of county courts in Appendix 3 to the Distress for Rent Rules 1988.
