The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 92(1) of the National Health Service Act 1977(1) and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf, having regard to changes in the arrangements for the administration of a hospital previously managed by the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals National Health Service Trust, and having consulted that Trust and the Northumbria Health Care National Health Service Trust in accordance with section 92(3) of that Act, hereby makes the following Order:
1.-(1) This Order may be cited as the Northumbria Health Care National Health Service Trust (Transfer of Trust Property) Order 1999 and shall come into force on 1st April 1999.
(2) In this Order-
"the first Trust" means the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals National Health Service Trust;
"the second Trust" means the Northumbria Health Care National Health Service Trust;
"the trust property" means the items specified in a schedule of trust property prepared by and agreed upon by the first Trust and the second Trust on 22nd February 1999, which schedule has been signed on behalf of both those NHS trusts.
2. On 1st April 1999 the trust property shall be transferred from the first Trust to the second Trust.

This Order transfers to the Northumbria Health Care National Health Service Trust on 1st April 1999 trust property formerly held by the Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals, National Health Service Trust. A copy of the schedule of trust property to which the Order refers can be obtained from the Department of Health, Accounts and Trust Allocations Branch, Room 3W58, Quarry House, Quarry Hill, Leeds LS2 7UE.
1977 c. 49; section 92 has been amended by section 11(5) of the National Health Service and Community Care Act 1990 (c. 19) and by paragraph 44 of Schedule 1 to the Health Authorities Act 1995 (c. 17).
