In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 5(1) of the Football (Disorder) Act 2000(1), the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Football (Disorder) Act 2000 (Commencement) Order 2000.
2. Section 1 of the Football (Disorder) Act 2000 shall come into force on 28th August 2000.

This Order brings section 1 of the Football (Disorder) Act 2000 into force on 28th August 2000. The remainder of the Act came into force on Royal Assent.
