This Order designates further voluntary schools in England which have a religious character in addition to those already listed in the Designation of Schools Having a Religious Character (England) Order 1999 (S.I. 1999/2432) ("the 1999 Regulations"). Five of the schools set out in the Schedule were originally included in Part II of the Schedule to the 1999 Regulations as schools in respect of which he had not yet come to a final decision as to religious character or religious denomination. In all cases the provisional designation of those schools as Christian has been confirmed.
