OSTEOPATHS

The Osteopaths Act 1993 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2002

  Made 26th February 2002 

The Secretary of State for Health, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 42(2) and (4) of the Osteopaths Act 1993[1], hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and interpretation
     1. This Order may be cited as the Osteopaths Act 1993 (Commencement No. 7) Order 2002.

Appointed Day
     2. 3rd March 2002 is the day appointed for the coming into force of the whole of the Osteopaths Act 1993 in so far as it is not already in force.

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order brings into force on 3rd March 2002 the remaining provisions of the Osteopaths Act 1993, which are section 1(4), so far as not already in force, and paragraphs 3, 9, 10, 12, 14(1), 14(3)(d), 14(4) and 14(5)(a) of Part 1 of the Schedule.
