PREVENTION AND SUPPRESSION OF TERRORISM

The Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2002

  Made 4th May 2002 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on him by section 127(1) of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001[1], hereby makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 (Commencement No. 4) Order 2002.

     2. Part 7 of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 (sections 58 to 75, together with Schedules 5 and 6) shall come into force on 31st May 2002.

This Order brings Part 7 of the Anti-terrorism, Crime and Security Act 2001 (security of pathogens and toxins) into force on 31st May 2002.
