HIGHWAYS, ENGLAND

The A19 Trunk Road (North Yorkshire/City of York Boundary to A19/A63 Junction) (Detrunking) Order 2003

  Made 21st May 2003 
  Coming into force 1st July 2003 

The Secretary of State for Transport makes this Order in exercise of powers conferred by sections 10 and 12 of the Highways Act 1980[1] and now vested in him[2], and of all other powers enabling him in that behalf:

     1. This Order may be cited as The A19 Trunk Road (North Yorkshire/City of York Boundary to A19/A63 Junction) (Detrunking) Order 2003 and shall come into force on 1st July 2003.

    
2. In this Order - 

     3. The length of the trunk road described in the Schedule to this Order shall cease to be a trunk road and shall be classified as a principal road from the date on which this Order comes into force.

SCHEDULE

LENGTH OF THE TRUNK ROAD CEASING TO BE A TRUNK ROAD


The length of the trunk road ceasing to be a trunk road is shown by broad black dashes on the plan and is situated between the North Yorkshire/City of York Boundary (marked "A" on the plan) and the A19/A63 Junction (marked "B" on the plan) and measures approximately 9.5 km in length.
