POLICE

The International Joint Investigation Teams (International Agreement) Order 2004

  Made 13th April 2004 
  Laid before Parliament 16th April 2004 
  Coming into force 7th May 2004 

In exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 88(7)(c) and 89(5)(c) of the Police Act 1996[1], sections 42(5B)(c) and 86(7)(c) of the Police Act 1997[2], sections 39(6)(c) and 41(5)(c) of the Police (Scotland) Act 1967[3] and sections 29(7)(c) and 66(5)(c) of the Police (Northern Ireland) Act 1998[4], and with the consent of the Scottish Ministers, the Secretary of State hereby makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the International Joint Investigation Teams (International Agreement) Order 2004 and shall come into force on 7th May 2004.

    
2. The Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement of 14th June 1985 is hereby specified for the purposes of -

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)


This Order specifies, with effect from 7th May 2004, the Convention implementing the Schengen Agreement of 14th June 1985 for the purposes of - 

Accordingly international joint investigation teams may be formed under that Convention.
