The Secretary of State for Transport, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by sections 52(1) and 60(1)(e) and (1A) of the Public Passenger Vehicles Act 1981[1], and after consultation with representative organisations in accordance with section 61(2) of the Act, hereby makes the following Regulations:
Citation and commencement
1.
These Regulations may be cited as the Minibus and Other Section 19 Permit Buses (Amendment) Regulations 2004 and shall come into force on 1st October 2004.
Amendments
2.
- (1) The Minibus and Other Section 19 Permit Buses Regulations 1987[2] are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 4(a), substitute "£17" for "£15".
(3) In regulation 4(b), substitute "£9" for "£8".

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations increase the fee for a permit granted under section 19 of the Transport Act 1985 in respect of the use of a large bus from £15 to £17 and in respect of the use of a small bus from £8 to £9.
