INTERNATIONAL IMMUNITIES AND PRIVILEGES
The International Organisations Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred upon him by section 11(4) of the International Organisations Act 2005[1], hereby makes the following Order —
1.
This Order may be cited as the International Organisations Act 2005 (Commencement) Order 2005.
2.
Sections 1 and 2 of the International Organisations Act 2005 shall come into force on 11th July 2005.
3.
Section 3 of the International Organisations Act 2005 shall come into force on 6th April 2006, which is the day specified as the relevant day for the purposes of paragraph 5A of the Schedule to the Commonwealth Secretariat Act 1966[2].

EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Order)
This Order brings into force provisions of the International Organisations Act 2005 ("the Act") which relate to the Commonwealth Secretariat. Sections 1 and 2 of the Act are brought into force on 11th July 2005, and section 3 is brought into force on 6th April 2006.
