TRANSPORT

The Railways and Transport Safety Act 2003 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2005

  Made 19th July 2005 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the power conferred upon him by section 120(1) of the Railways and Transport Safety Act 2003[1] hereby makes the following Order:

Citation and interpretation
     1. —(1) This Order may be cited as the Railways and Transport Safety Act 2003 (Commencement No. 5) Order 2005.

    (2) In this Order—

Commencement of provisions
     2. —(1) The provisions of the 2003 Act which are specified in paragraph (2) shall come into force on 17th October 2005.

    (2) The provisions referred to in paragraph (1) are—

This Order brings into force sections 1 to 14 of the Railways and Transport Safety Act 2003 (c.20) on 17th October 2005.
