The Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2006

15th February 2006

The Secretary of State makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 26(2) of the Private Security Industry Act 2001[1].

     In accordance with section 24(4)[2] of that Act he has consulted with the Security Industry Authority.

     1. This Order may be cited as the Private Security Industry Act 2001 (Commencement No. 10) Order 2006.

     2. The following provisions of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 shall come into force on 20th March 2006—

EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the Order)

Article 2 of this Order brings sections 14, 16 and 18 of the Private Security Industry Act 2001 into force on 20th March 2006 and section 15 of that Act into force on the same date to the extent to which it is not already in force.
