The Natural History Museum (Authorised Repositories) Order 2006

  Made 15th June 2006 
  Laid before Parliament 16th June 2006 
  Coming into force 10th July 2006 

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 10(2) of the British Museum Act 1963[1] and now vested in her [2], with the agreement of the Trustees of the Natural History Museum, makes the following Order:

     1. This Order may be cited as the Natural History Museum (Authorised Repositories) Order 2006 and shall come into force on 10th July 2006.

     2. At the end of paragraph 1 of Part 2 of Schedule 3 to the British Museum Act 1963[3] insert “, but excluding the part of that site known as the "Central Boiler House" and located on the north side of the Natural History Museum“.

This Order alters the description of the Natural History Museum's authorised repository in South Kensington.
