Coming into force

The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred on her by section 74(1) of the Serious Crime Act 2007(1), makes the following Order:
1. This Order may be cited as the Assets Recovery Agency (Abolition) Order 2008 and shall come into force on 1st April 2008.
2. The Assets Recovery Agency and the corporation sole that is its Director shall cease to exist on 1st April 2008.
